What's going on...
Hey everyone! I hope each of you are having a great week. There are a few things that we have going on right now that I thought you would like to know about.
- ONE on June 10th - We are going to be having ONE on June 10th. Any of you are welcome to come. It begins at 7:00 pm and will end at 8:30 pm.
- Pizza Party - On June 10th prior to ONE we are hosting a Pizza Party for our incoming 7th graders at the Main Campus in 041/042. This party is to let them know about Impact and get them excited about participating in the fall. I am in need of a little help with crowd control and would love to have any of you come and help out. The party is suppose to begin at 5:30 pm, but we would need to be ready to go no later than 5:15 pm. There will be pizza (obviously), games and give-a-ways. If you would like to help out just let me know and I get you more details.
- Big Stuf Meeting - Also on June 10th at 5:30 pm Scott will be hosting a make-up meeting for all students who couldn't attend the previous Big Stuff Meeting. That meeting will take place in the Club 56 room.
- SGL Cookout - This is so exciting! Mo, Jen and I have some great stuff laid out for the summer and fall and we want to share that information with you and get some feedback. In order to collect that information we need to get everyone together. Since summer is upon us we thought it would be a great opportunity for a Cookout. Here are the details...
- What: SGL Cookout (It will be a full cookout just so you know)
- When: 6:00 pm on June 13th
- Where: Winona Lake Park

February Virtual Training
Hey small group leaders!
I must say first that I miss all of you. I had a great time in Florida last week and I missed being with you all at the training event. Just yesterday I was looking at your photo's on our wall ... and I was praying for you and thought to myself, "self...I am blessed to get to work with these people." Thanks for all that you do with this ministry.
I am writing to let you know that we have produced and uploaded another "virtual training" for you to view. I want to personally ask you to please go and view these two new video's. I know that sounds a little weird, but these two video's will set the tone for our remaining 12 weeks we have left in the school year. In the second video especially, I tried to share my heart and look at what I think God wants for and from all of us right now. Since we won't be together again this week, it is very important to me that you watch these video's. If you watch both of them, your investment will be 13 minutes. I don't want you to watch them because they include me talking to the camera...I need you to watch them because the mission of being Christ to these students demands that we be on the same page together.
Have a great day and a great weekend. I welcome your comments after you watch these two video's. It really is a pleasure serving with all of you! Have a great weekend. See you on the 18th.
In Christ,
Scott
p.s. Evan, you rock!

Amazing
Hey everyone! I hope this finds each of you well and in great spirits. This past weekend was amazing. The response to our non-band worship has been very positive and I know I am excited about doing more of it in the future. If any of you would like to give us feedback about our non-band worship night I know we would welcome it. We are always trying to improve and better ourselves and your feedback has a huge impact on that. Here are a few things that you need to know about this coming weekend.
1) Teaching Details - This coming weekend Scott will be out of town so I will be finishing our series "Listen." I know that I feel a huge responsibility to continue to teach our students what it means to engage God in their daily lives. Our students are so busy and sometimes out of control that their relationship with God suffers. This coming weekend at One we are going to talk about the next s tep and put the question in front of them of "What are you going do?"
2) Prayer Request - This weekend has the potential to be a huge starting point for many of our students. Some of them will be affirmed and some of them will be challenged. I would like to ask each of you to specifically pray for each student in your group that this weekend would be a source of encouragement and empowerment. I would also ask for you to pray for me in my preparation and act of teaching this weekend. This will be something that I have not done in awhile and I am little nervous. I would really appreciate your prayers for both of these things.
3) Wired for Worship Blog Experience - We are still have slots available for people to write for our Wired for Worship Blog experience and we would love to have everyone who wants to participate get involved. If you would like more details on this o pportunity please let me know and I will be happy to give you some more information.
That is all I have for now. Later this week you will be getting small group questions for this coming Sunday. If there is anything I can help you with or pray for you about please let me know and I will do what I can. Thank you, thank you, thank you for investing in the lives of these students. I feel highly honored to work with such a great group of people. All of you are amazing! Have a great day! - Evo

What an investment
Hey everyone! I hope you are all having a great Monday so far. Last night was great. Scott and I appreciate so much how each of you personally invests in the lives of your students. You may not see the wheels turning, but just know that good things are happening. Here are just a few things that you need to know about.
1) SGL Training - As you all know, we have SGL Training on the 31st of this month. We would like for you to RSVP for the training. We have some great stuff planned and we want to make sure we know who is going to be there. You can RSVP by shooting an email to either Scott or me. If you send me an email and it is bounced back to you please forward that rejection email to Scott so we can pass it along to our tech team for analysis.
2) Mid-Year SGL Survey - It is back up and ready. Please take just two minutes a nd fill out the survey. You can get to it by going to the right-hand side of this blog where there is a section titled "Surveys & Evaluations." In that section you should click the item titled "Mid-Year SGL Survey." Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback and I apologize that there have been so many issues with this survey.
3) Setup & Tear down Help - This coming Sunday we are in need of four to five people to help us with the setup and tear down for our "Non-Band Worship." We will need for the setup team to arrive around 5:30 pm and then for the tear down team to stick around after small groups until around 9:45 pm. We will try and make tear down go as quickly as possible. Anyone that would like to help can simply respond to this email and let me know you will be here. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
4) Wired for Worship Blog Experience - The last two weekends you have heard about our upcoming blog experience for our students. We would love to have any of you who are interested involved in the writing experience for the blog. If you would like to be involved please email me and tell me what Psalm you would like to write and we will place you on the calendar. All you need is between 200 and 300 words for your entry. If you have any quesitons please let me know and I will be happy to help.
5) Seven Checkpoint Devotionals - This past Sunday Scott told all of our students about an online devotional that they could engage in that is based on the Seven Checkpoints. We would like to make this available to you so you can walk along side any of your students who might be interested in these devotions. You can get to the devotions by going to the "helpful links" section on the rigth-hand side of this blog and clicking on "7 Checkpoint Devos." That should take you to the main page where you will want to then click on the option that says "Login Page." If you are in need of the username and password please shoot me an email and I will be happy to give it to you.
Wow! Thank you for taking the time to make it to the end. That was a lot of information and I hope that it was helpful to you in role as a small group leader. Please if you have any questions let me know and I will be happy to help. Later this week you will get another email with the questions for this coming weekend. Thanks again for taking the time to invest in the lives of student. Have a great week! - Evo
